Established in 1970.

Our founding began in the Aerospace industry, where our founder Jerry Thomas worked on fighter jet electronics while serving in the United States Air Force. After completing his military service he was recruited into the Apollo Space Program where he became an electrical supervisor on the Apollo Space Command Module and Service Vehicles. Jerry subsequently spent 25 years with the City of Pasadena in the roles of Chief Electrician and Chief Electrical Inspector. Later, he served another 17 years with Edison Testing Laboratories before leaving the public sector to focus solely on Option One Solar. Since the beginning, we have demanded excellence. We continue to incorporate “space program standards” into all of our solar projects and only use the best products, tools, and techniques to ensure the highest quality possible. To maintain the high standard reputation we are known for, we never cut corners and proudly stand by every project we complete.
