About Our Firm

The Law Offices of J.M. Reinan were founded by J Reinan in 1999. Prior to that time, Mr. Reinan had been a lawyer partner in a Denver medical malpractice defense firm that represented primarily doctors, nurses, hospitals, nursing homes and their insurance companies in malpractice lawsuits. In 1999, Mr. Reinan decided that he belonged on the other side of that equation. He wanted to work with and help people, as a Colorado elder abuse attorney, not work against them.

Mr. Reinan’s main purpose in starting this nursing home abuse law firm in Colorado was to assist people who were frustrated by a system that far too often seems to ignore their healthcare consumer rights.
